McDonald’s celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month by recognizing several El Pasoans for their professional achievements, work in the community and for motivating young people to strive for greatness. They were honored at a luncheon Sept. 21 at the El Paso Marriott. The 2017 McDonald’s Hispanos Triunfadores are: Armando Aguirre, education; Rodolfo Hernandez, art and entertainment; Gloria Salazar, science; Judge Maria Salas Mendoza, government service; David Granado, business; and Dan Olivas, community service. Eastwood High School student Ryan Solis was honored as an Emerging Leader.
